Outbound UK shipping is free. We generally use a Royal Mail Tracked and Signed For service.

International shipping usually incurs an additional £15 cost. We will use a recognised courier such as Fedex or DHL and provide all tracking information.

Return Shipping costs, unless the result of an error on our behalf, are the responsibility of the customer. All returns remain the responsibility of the customer until received by Alexis Amor. Please use a tracked service.

All returns must be in their original condition without personalisation (such as prescription lenses, adjustments etc.), be unworn and arrive with all supplied accessories.

Please include a copy of the original invoice with your return.

Refunds will generally be processed within 48 hours.

If you would like to try one or more frames please order them online and then, once received and tried, either return them to have the prescription lenses fitted, take them to a trusted optician to have the prescription lenses fitted, or, if not suitable, for a refund.

If you would like us to add prescription lenses please a copy of your prescription and a selfie of you wearing the spectacles before they’re returned (for sunglasses, please call). This will allow us to measure your pupil position and accurately fit the lenses.

If you would like to add lenses to your order but are uncertain what to choose, please a copy of your prescription and we’ll be happy to advise.

We can provide varifocal lenses from the world's leading brands at hugely competitive prices. Although we can do many more, we generally use the latest products from Essilor (Varilux) or Zeiss and are generally around 30% cheaper than our high street competitors.

There are a bewildering number of options when considering which varifocal to choose but, in order to simplify, we’ll usually recommend the best that is currently available. The Zeiss Smartlife or the top end of the Varilux ranges are, in our opinion, as good as they get.

We are happy to fit new lenses to your existing frames and can supply virtually any lens type.

All of the glazing is done 'in house' using the latest lenses and equipment. Glazing can often be done while you wait. Please with your prescription and any questions.

Our high quality products are produced in limited quantities and are sourced from conscientious manufacturers and suppliers.

We will always try to adopt new technologies as their costs, delivery times and minimum quantities become less prohibitive. For example, where we can, we use recycled acetates, where we can’t, we stick with the environmentally conscious and always chemically improving acetates supplied by the market leaders. It is also necessary to ship our products internationally and to this end, all our freight movements are Carbon Neutral offset.

As our customers have become increasingly concerned with the provenance of their purchases, so have we.
